Beat the winter blues with these cocktails

New Delhi: As the temperature drops, grab a glass of cocktail-like Christmas Cheer and Kentucky Spice to enjoy the winter season.

Whiskey brand Jim Beam has a few cocktail options: 

  • Christmas Cheer

Ingredients

Jim Beam: 60 ml

Apple juice: 60 ml

Cinnamon stick: One

Lime wedge: One 

Method:
In a shaker glass filled with ice, pour the above ingredients and squeeze the lime. Shake well and strain into a stemmed glass. Garnish with a few apple slices and cinnamon stick. 
 

  • Kentucky Spice

Ingredients

Jim Beam: 60 ml

Mint syrup: 10 ml

Tabasco sauce: Three dashes 

Ginger ale: 90 ml

Lime wedge: One

Method:
In a tall glass filled with ice, put the Jim Beam, mint syrup, tabasco and ginger ale. Squeeze the lime and stir. Garnish with an orange peel and serve.

Ingredients

Jim Beam: 60 ml

Earl grey tea: 60 ml

Honey: Five ml

Ginger juliens: Six 

Method :

Infuse Earl grey tea and allow it to cool. In a tall glass, drop the ginger juliens and muddle to release flavours. Add honey, Jim Beam and stir. Fill with ice and top with Earl grey tea. Garnish with an orange wedge and serve.
