Eight IPS officers transferred in J&K

Jammu: In a major reshuffle after the elction, the J&K police transferred its eight senior IPS officials.

Yoginder Koul, IPS (JK:94), Commissioner Civil Military Liaison, Home Department is transferred and posted as IGP IR Jammu against available vacancy.

Garib Dass, IPS (JK:97), DIG Udhampur Reasi Range is transferred and posted as DIG North Kashmir Range, Baramulla vice Ghulam Hassan Bhat.

Alok Kumar, IPS (JK:97), DIG SKR Anantnag is transferred and posted as DIG Traffic Kashmir against available vacancy.

Surinder Kumar Gupta, IPS (JK:97), DIG CID Jammu is transferred and posted as DIG Udhampur Reasi Range vice Garib Dass.

Ashkoor Ahmad Wani, IPS (JK:99), DIG Doda/Kishtwar/Ramban Range is transferred and posted as DIG Traffic Jammu vice Nisar Ahmad.

S. Ahfadul Mujtaba, IPS (JK:98), DIG CKR Srinagar is transferred and posted as DIG CID Jammu Vice Surinder Kumar Gupta.

Ali Mohammad, IPS (JK:99), DIG Administration, PHQ is transferred and posted as DIG South Kashmir Range, Anantnag vice Alok Kumar.

Nisar Ahmad, IPS (JK:99), DIG Traffic Jammu is transferred and posted as DIG Doda/Ramban/Kishtwar Range vice Ashkoor Ahmad Wani.
