UP: Major reshuffle in IAS IPS officers

Lucknow: In a major reshuffle in the state administration and police set up, Uttar Pradesh government transferred 25 senior IAS and as many IPS officers.

Commissioner Moradabad, Sudhir Garg has been shifted to MSME as Principal Secretary and Special Secretary PWD Ajaydeep Singh has been made the new District Magistrate of Sant Kabirnagar in place of Prakash Bindu who has been put on waiting list, an official release said.

Additional Commissioner, NCR Ghaziabad, Arunvir Singh has been made Additional CEO, Yamuna Expressway and Industrial Development Authority, the release said.

Besides, T Venktesh awaiting posting has been made Principal Secretary Backward Class Welfare Department and Principal Secretary State Human Rights Commission Hariraj Kishore has been sent to general administration in the same capacity, it said.

Bhupendra Singh awaiting posting has been made Principal Secretary Home Guards and political pension, Commissioner Lucknow Mahesh Gupta has been relieved of the additional charge of Principal Secretary MSME, the release said.

Among the IPS officers, Superintendent of Police (Intelligence) Meerut, Anil Kumar Rai has been made the SP of Bhadohi while SP, Hapur Rajendra Prasad Pandey and SP, Shravasti Himanshu Kumar swap posts, the release said.

IG Special Investigating Team, Surya Kumar has been made IG Training and IG Security Hariram Sharma has been made IG Crime, it said.

IG, Rules and Manuals Ram Krishna Swarnkar has been made IG security, it added.
