New Delhi: A massive fire broke out at east Delhi’s Gandhi Nagar market in the national capital on Tuesday with fire fighters trying hard to take control over the situation.
The fire, which broke out from a kerosene shop, was so massive that the whole area had to be evacuated to take control over the situation.
The area of the fire can be guessed by the fact that the authorities had to rush 20 Â fire engines to the location to douse the fire.
The market is considered the largest cloth market in Asia and it houses a number of textile units and factories.
Reports have confirmed that no causalities have taken place in the incident but properties worth lakhs of rupees have burnt into ashes.
