Four killed by lightning in West Bengal

Kolkata: At least four people have been killed after being struck by lightning in the Burdwan and Howrah Districts of West Bengal.

Several districts in the southern part of West Bengal are witnessing heavy rains and thunderstorms for the last couple of days.

Train services in the region were also disrupted after some overhead power cables snapped due to incessant rains.

Several mud houses and trees were also uprooted in the rain affected areas.
