New Delhi: Raju and Brijesh, the duo who cleared the IIT Advanced examinations earlier this week have proved yet again, that it’s the will not the resources required for the success.
But, their father, Dharamraj, a daily wage-earner, doesn’t own much of resources to pay Rs 1 lakh for his sons’ admission fees.
On Saturday morning, Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi spoke to the brothers Raju and Brijesh over phone from New Delhi, congratulating the duo for their performance, and also extending Congress’ support for their admission.
“Rahulji spoke to both of us and congratulated us for our achievement,†Brijesh said.
Soon after, Congress MP Pramod Tiwari and his MLA daughter Aradhana Mishra announced they will give up salaries of one month, amounting to Rs 1 lakh, towards the payment of admission fee for Brijesh and Raju, whose father Dharmraj is a daily wage earner in their home constituency.
The sanitation giant Sulabh International also extended hand and announced to bear the cost of education of the two students.
Moreover, stand-up comedian Papa CJ has offered monetary help to the duo for their admission to IIT.
