Pothole claims life of 9-year old Bengaluru kid

Date:

Bengaluru: A nine-year-old boy lost his life when a private bus ran over him at Tumakuru road on Sunday. He was riding pillion on his mother’s two-wheeler, who in order to avoid the pothole moved to the right.

Sunitha (28), resident of Gayatri Nagar, and her son, Likhith Gowda, were going to Peenya for a puja. Sunitha, on spotting a pothole just before her wheels lost control, slipped off and fell on the road while Likhith came under the wheels of the bus and died on the spot.

The angry passerby pelted stones at the bus and also dragged the driver out and assaulted him.

But the question is, was it really the drivers fault or the pothole is the actual culprit? Leave your comments below!
