Singer Blake Shelton has filed a complaint against a tabloid over its cover story accusing him of drinking and partying out of control.
The story claimed the country star Shelton is in rehab. The complaint said “Blake Shelton has had enough,”.
“To set the record straight – he is not in rehab, his ‘close circle’ is not trying to seek an intervention, and he is, in fact, hard at work on The Voice and other projects,” the complaint said.
“The affair story was false. They did not have a sexual relationship or affair of any nature whatsoever,” it further added. Shelton, 49, is seeking “no less than USD 1 million” for damage to his “reputation, career and standing in the community.”
