Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee believes that he pities those who mock Biharis. Speaking exclusively to NewsMobile, Bajpayee, who hails from West Champaran has a new agenda for the third time Chief Minister for Bihar, Nitish Kumar. First, he says Nitish should promote his education reforms to bring in quality education to Bihar. Then he should focus on developing smaller towns into model cities so emigration of Bihari youths to bigger cities stops.
Third, he should focus on a progressive irrigation policy so villages have access to water. “During my recent visit to my village, I found that the ponds were dry and the irrigation sources were not available this is important for development he says.
Asked if this was the vote for the restoration of Bihari pride he says that he pities those who mock people on the basis of regionalism.
While the Raajniti star would stay away from Politics clearly he has a forward looking advice for Nitish on his third term as the new Chief Minister of Bihar.
