International Cricket Council chairman Srinivasan toppled

Date:

Narayanaswami Srinivasan was toppled as International Cricket Council chairman on Monday after his home board withdrew its support, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) said.

Srinivasan will be replaced for the remainder of his two-year term as ICC chairman by current BCCI president Shashank Manohar, an official said.

“The BCCI representative to the ICC will be Shashank Manohar,” board secretary Anurag Thakur told reporters after the BCCI’s annual general meeting in Mumbai.
