Central Railway to run special trains for Velankanni festival

Mumbai, Aug 17 (PTI) The Central Railway will run twospecial trains from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus here to Velankanniin Tamil Nadu to tackle the passenger rush during theVelankanni Festival. Special train (01031) will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus(LTT) at 1.20 PM on August 26 and reach Velankanni at 10 PMthe next day, while in the return journey, train (01032) willdepart from Velankanni station on August 28 at 8.30 AM andarrive in Mumbai at 4.20 PM next day, a Central Railwayrelease said here. The stations where the trains will make halts are– Kalyan, Pune, Solapur, Gulbarga, Wadi, Yadgir, Raichur,Guntakal, Gooty, Tadipatri, Kancheepuram, Chengalpattu,Villupuram, Tirupadaripulliyur, Chidambaram, Sirkazhi,Tiruvarur and Nagapattinam. Bookings for the trains on special charges will startfrom tomorrow. PTI APM ARSASVSDM
