Ensure release of Indians jailed in Saudi Arabia: MP to Govt

Karimnagar (Telangana), Aug 17 (PTI) Karimnagar LokSabha MP B Vinod Kumar today appealed to External AffairsMinister Sushma Swaraj to ensure the release of Indianslanguishing in various prisons in Saudi Arabia. In a press release here, the TRS leader said hundredsof Indian prisoners are lodged in jails in the Gulf nation. The unemployed youth going to Saudi Arabia for jobsare exploited by their employers, who do not pay wages forseveral months, he said. Out of desperation, they are forced to find otheremployment, without documentation, which often leads to theirarrest, Kumar said. He appealed to Swaraj to direct Indian embassy inRiyadh to ensure immediate release of such prisoners. PTI CORRSY
