Freedom fighter dies

Mathura, Aug 27 (PTI) Veteran freedom fighter BhanvarSingh Sharma died here today. He was 99. He is survived by his two sons and was ailing for pastcouple of months, his family members said. Sharma, who was said to the last surviving freedom fighterof the district, was cremated with state honours. He was given guard of honour and senior officialsincluding District Magistrate Nikhil Chandra Shukla and SeniorSP Babloo Kumar laid wreath on his body, officials said. PTICORRSMJ
