Romantic comedy "Happy Bhaag Jayegi" may have a sequel

Mumbai, Aug 30 (PTI) The makers of Abhay Deol andDiana Penty-starrer "Happy Bhaag Jayegi" are mulling a sequelof the film. "We do plan to make a sequel of ‘Happy Bhaag Jayegi’.The discussions are on how to take the story foward. Anand sir(producer Anand L Rai), too, thinks a sequel can be made…hehas given a positive feedback to this idea," director MudassarAziz told PTI. However, Aziz said as of now he doesn’t have anyconcrete story idea for the second part of the romanticcomedy. "Till the time we are convinced about the story, wewill not make the film," he said. Besides Deol and Diana, the film also featured JimmyShergill, Ali Fazal and Momal Sheikh in the lead roles. According to Aziz, it’s too early to throw light onthe casting of the sequel. Released on August 18, the film has garnered Rs 22.11crore at the box office in India and Aziz is overwhelmed withthe audience’s response. "It just makes me a lot happier," he adds.
