Saleem demands action in Dingarheri double murder-rape case

Bhopal, Aug 30 (PTI) Senior Congress leader MohammadSaleem today demanded from Prime Minister Narendra Modi totake stern action against culprits of the double murder andrape in Haryana’s Dingarheri village. Saleem, in a letter to the Prime Minister, demanded thatstrict action should be taken against those who have beenarrested in connection with the heinous crime, a statementissued by the AICC member said. Four youth have been arrested in connection with themurder of a couple and sexual assault of two girls in avillage in Mewat district after barging into the family’shouse and looting valuables. Five armed men had barged into a house in villageDingerheri in Mewat on the night of August 24 and allegedlybeaten the couple to death, and gang-raped their two nieces.One of the rape victims is a minor. They had also fled withvaluables including cash, jewellery and a vehicle. An SIT was formed on August 25 to nab the accused.PTI MAS LAL ARSSRYRDS
