Brasilia, Aug 31 (AFP) Brazil’s Michel Temer was sworn inas the country’s new president today after leftist DilmaRousseff was removed in a Senate impeachment trial. Temer, 75, raised his hand and swore to uphold theconstitution, drawing loud applause from his conservativesupporters at the swearing-in ceremony in a packed Senatechamber. (AFP) PRGPRG
