Groundnut oil declines on lower demand

Mumbai, Sep 01 (PTI) Groundnut oil prices declined at theVashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today followinglower demand from stockists and retailers. While, Castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial firmed upowing to rising demand from soaps and shippers industries. Meanwhile, refined palmolein and linseed oil held stablein absence of any large-scale buying activity. In the edible segment, groundnut oil slipped by Rs 10 per10kg to Rs 1,390 from Wednesday’s close Rs 1,400 and refinedpalmolein unaltered at Rs 615 per 10 kg Moving to non-edible section, castorseed bold rose by Rs 5per 10 kg to Rs 3,650 from yesterday’s close Rs 3,645 andcastoroil commercial inched up by a Re per 10 kg to Rs 760. Linseed oil closed unchanged at Rs 1,100 per 10 kg.PTI BPDABI
