Jeff Kinney to visit India in Dec, says he’s thrilled

New Delhi, Sep 1 (PTI) Jeff Kinney, bestselling author ofthe "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" series, will visit India inDecember and is thrilled about his trip during which he willalso deliver this year’s annual Penguin lecture. This will be Kinney’s first visit to India, and it will bean occasion to treasure for his many fans – children as wellas those who have grown up with their favourite "Wimpy Kid"series over the last decade. "He will arrive in India in early December and visit Delhiand Mumbai," publishers Penguin said. On his upcoming tour Kinney says, "I’m thrilled to visitmore places where Wimpy Kid has impacted the lives of youngreaders. My first global tour was an amazing, upliftingexperience. I am looking forward to visiting so many newplaces this November and December." He will also deliver the prestigious Penguin AnnualLecture 2016, the date of which will be announced later. "Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Double Down", the 11th book in theglobally bestselling series brought out by Puffin, publisheson November 1.
