Gangster’s wife shot dead in Gurgaon

Gurgaon, Sep 2 (PTI) The wife of a gangster was shotdead in Bhondsi area here this morning allegedly by someunidentified car-borne assailants, police said. Sushma Rathi (32) was returning home after dropping herdaughter at the bus stop for school when she was hit withbullets on her head and chest, leaving her dead on the spot,they said. It is suspected that three to four assailants wereinvolved and a probe is on with the police having recoveredfrom Ballabgarh the vehicle allegedly used in the crime, PROGurgaon Police Hawa Singh said. The car was found in burnt condition, he added. Sushma’s husband Ashok Rathi is serving life sentence atBhondsi jail, he said. Ashok was arrested in March 2014.
