Term of Justice Dhingra commission comes to end

Chandigarh, Sep 2 (PTI) The term of Justice S N DhingraCommission, which was set up to probe into grant of landlicences to some companies including that of Robert Vadra inGurgaon during the Congress rule in Haryana, has come to anend with immediate effect from August 31. A notification to this effect was issued by the ChiefSecretary today. The Khattar government had on May 14, 2015 set up theone-man Commission to probe issues concerning the grant oflicense(s) for developing commercial colonies by theDepartment of Town and Country Planning to some entities inSector 83, Gurgaon including mutation of land deal between afirm M/S Skylight Hospitality owned by Robert Vadra and realtymajor DLF. The commission had submitted its 182-page report to thestate government on August 31 and apparently foundirregularities in the deals. After submitting his report, Justice Dhingra had said itwas the state government’s prerogative to act against thosewho were involved in committing irregularities. He had said his report was in two parts which containedfindings and evidence. PTI CHS CHT RGCHT
