Prime Minister pays tribute to Radhakrishnan on Teachers’ Day

New Delhi, Sep 5 (PTI) Paying tributes to the secondPresident of the country Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, PrimeMinister Narendra Modi today asked people to share theiranecdotes about their teachers. "Prime Minister Narendra Modi has saluted the dedicationand commitment of all the teachers on Teachers’ Day. PrimeMinister has also paid his tributes to Dr. SarvepalliRadhakrishnan, the Former President of India, whose birthanniversary is celebrated as Teachers’ Day across India," anofficial statement said. The Prime Minister, who is in Hangzhou, China, for theG20 meet, tweeted, "Happy Teachers Day! India salutes thededication and commitment of all teachers, whose role innation building is paramount. " "Tributes to Dr. S Radhakrishnan, a scholar, statesmanand a respected teacher who shaped many minds and servedIndia. How has your teacher influenced you?
