Katrina, Sidharth offloaded from AI plane at IGI

New Delhi, Sep 6 (PTI) Actors Katrina Kaif and SidharthMalhotra were offloaded by Air India officials from theirscheduled flight to Mumbai after they delayed their boardingand allegedly indulged in promoting their upcoming movie atIndira Gandhi International Airport’s terminal area with fans. Officials said the incident was reported late last nightafter both the actors reached the airport and got theirboarding passes to fly to Mumbai in the Air India flightnumber AI-317. Post the security check, the duo were seen mingling withfans in the duty-free area of the airport to promote theirupcoming film "Baar Baar Dekho", the officials said. They said both the actors were asked by airport officialsto board the flight scheduled for 9:40 PM but they keptdelaying the flight. Finally, sources said, the airline decided to offloadthem at about 10:45 PM as other passengers complained aboutthe delay in departure. However, Air India officials said the Bollywood actorswere not deplaned, as they were issued boarding passes but"they chose not to travel as part of their own decision". PTINES/IAS KIS RGKIS
