Wants to see accountability, justice in Mumbai attacks: US

From Lalit K Jha Washington, Sep 7 (PTI) The US has said it wants to see"accountability and justice" in the trial of Mumbai terrorattacks which was carried out by Pakistan-based terrorists. "We’ve been very clear that we want to see accountabilityand justice in the case of the Mumbai attacks," StateDepartment Deputy Spokesman Mark Toner told reportersyesterday. "There were American citizens who lost their lives inthose terrible attacks. We’ve long encouraged and pushed forgreater counter-terrorism cooperation, and that includes thesharing of intelligence between India and Pakistan in thatregard," Toner said in response to a question. "We’re making our concerns clear that they need to goafter all the terrorist groups that are operating or seekinghaven in their soil. And that’s been our clear objective for along time now.
