AIATF workers protest against Uri attack, burn Pak PM’s effigy

Greater Noida, Sept 20 (PTI) Workers of the All IndiaAnti-Terrorist Front (AIATF) today staged a protest hereagainst the attack on an army base at Uri in Kashmir and burntthe effigy of Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif amidraising of anti-Pak slogans. Front workers Radhey Shyam, Mahesh Nagar, Deepak Bhatiand others were present at the protest and said, "India shouldretaliate in strong manner and teach Pakistan a lesson." Front members held the march from Alpha sector commercialbelt before burning the effigy of the Pakistani Prime Ministerat Pari Chowk. BJP leaders Anand Bhati, Sachin Awana, Vikas and othersalso burnt the effigy of Pakistan PM. Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarti Parishad members held a candlelight march for the slain soldiers and prayed for the peace ofthe departed souls. "India needs to take a proactive stand on terrorism fromPakistan and take measures to get PoK back. Once PoK isoccupied by India, terrorists will not get hideout," ABVPworker Ashok Bhati said.
