Fire at fireworks unit

Baruipur (WB), Sep 19 (PTI) A fire broke out in aclandestine fireworks unit at Gobindapur in South 24 Parganasdistrict today. Police said, three fire tenders fought the blaze,which was possibly triggered by a short circuit, in fourhours. The firworks unit used to make firecrackers, flowerpot, sparklers, rockets, police said. The fire also gutted a powerloom nearby but there wasno casualty. Police said the owner of the unit and family will bequestioned. PTI COR SUSSUS
