Man gets 3 years jail term for molesting minor

Bundi (Raj), Sept 20 (PTI) A special court today sentenceda young man to three years imprisonment for molesting andteasing a 13-year-old girl. Special Judge (POCSO) Ashok Kumar Vyas also imposed a fineof Rs 2000 on 26-year-old Ramdayal Mali, a resident of Banjaroka Jhopada, Public Prosecutor Bhupendra Sahay Saxena said. The victim’s mother, a resident of the same village, fileda complaint against Mali on January 16, 2014 for molesting andteasing her minor daughter, he said. A case was registered under section 354 of IPC and section7,8 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Actagainst the accused following the complaint, the PP said.
