Spells of rain forecast in WB over next two days

Kolkata, Sep 20 (PTI) The Met department today forecastone or two spells of showers or thunderstorm in differentparts of West Bengal over the next two days. There has been little or no rainfall activity in the statefor the past few days. Most parts of the state experienced hot and humid weatherconditions with Digha recording the day’s highest at 35.8degrees Celsius, the Met department said. Kolkata recorded its maximum temperature at 34.6 degreesCelsius. The city recorded the state’s highest rainfall atonly 7.8 mm in 24 hours from yesterday morning. PTI AMR SUSTIR
