Diplomat Sibal turns poet, releases Book

Former Foreign Secretary Kanwal Sibal’s book of poems ‘Snowflakes of Time’ was released today at the Vivekananda Foundation.

Sibal read out the excerpts from the book and was at his eloquent best.

The release was presided by General NC Vij chair of the Vivekananda International Foundation and Keki N. Daruwalla had a conversation with the author.

This is diplomacy at its best, from Heena Rabbani Khar’s visit to art of negotiation, Sibal’s book is a must read to deconstruct India’s diplomacy brilliantly articulated through his poetry.

Sibal a former Foreign Secretary who served as Envoy to Russia and France has only added to his talent as a diplomat with the book. The release was attended by many former Foreign Secretaries and senior diplomats.
