In a shocking incident, Mallika Sherawat of the ‘Murder’ fame has been a victim of violence by unidentified strangers in a neighbouring flat in Paris. Seems like Paris is failing its reputation of being the ‘lover’s paradise’and is turning out to be a ‘mugging capital’. Last we heard, Kim K of the Kardashian was robbed of jewels worth millions at a gunpoint.
It happened on the night of 11th November when Mallika and a male friend arrived at her residential building in the 16th arrondissement of Paris. According to the report, the “Jalebi Bai” was tear-gassed and beaten up by in her own apartment. The criminals were wearing scarves across their faces and sprayed their victims with tear gas before punching them.
Officials report that a criminal investigation has been launched, with detectives working on the theory that the assailants were attempting a robbery.
It’s almost a month now that Kim was robbed. This must have shaken up Mallika.
