A Brazilian couple got married in September after having eight years of relationship, but on Thursday they got what they wanted for years official recognition from Guinness World Records that they are the world’s shortest married couple.

Paulo who is 35.54 inches tall and Katyucia is 35.88 inches, have dwarfism. With a combined height of 71.42 inches, they beat out previous record holders, Douglas Maistre Breger da Silva and Claudia Pereira Rocha, who were 35.4 inches and 36.6 inches respectively.

They both always wanted the shortest couple honour, but they have to get married for the registration in Guinness book of world records.
