Andrew Garfield is excited to see the new ‘Spider-Man’ movie

Date:

“I watched the trailer for Spider-Man: Homecoming and it’s great! I think it looks great,” he revealed. “I’m really excited to see it, I can’t wait.”

On the heels of the debut last week of the teaser trailer for “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” star Tom Holland took to the film’s Facebook page, where he fielded questions from fans, and lets slip a few spoilers — including that, “at one point Spider-Man ends up in a lake” — and a few curse words.

The 20-year-old actor explains that he was initially keen to do the stunt himself, saying,

“I was like, ‘Let me to it. Let me do it.’ When I saw [the stunt double] do it and get dunked in the lake, I so happy I let him do that one because that was the scariest thing I’ve ever seen. Can you imagine? Flying under a helicopter and being dunked in a lake. I don’t get paid enough for that shit. Sorry! Again. Again. I can’t help it. I’m sorry.”

Directed by Jon Watts (“Clown”) from a script by John Francis Daley and Jonathan M. Goldstein, “Spider-Man: Homecoming” also stars Michael Keaton, Zendaya, Donald Glover, Jacob Batalon, Laura Harrier, Tony Revolori, Tyne Daly, Bokeem Woodbine, Marisa Tomei and Robert Downey Jr. The film swings into theatres on July 7, 2017.
