A major accident happened this morning at the Delhi Airport as an Indigo and a Spice Jet came face to face with each other on the runway. Indigo flight just arrived from Lucknow and the Spice Jet flight was about to take off when they just came dangerously close.
This happened because there may have been a miscommunication with the Air Traffic Control tower. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation, the safety regulator, is investigating how the near-disaster took place.
This is the second time this incident is happening. In Goa, Jet Airways flight took a 360-degree spin on the runway just before take-off. Some passengers were injured and were moved on emergency slides.
