‘Parents should teach sons to respect women’: Shah Rukh Khan

Mumbai: Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan has requested parents to guide their sons how to respect women. Asked about the Bengaluru mass molestation on New Year’s eve, Shah Rukh said, “It is completely wrong. I feel mothers and fathers should teach their sons how to respect women.”

SRK was quoted saying:

“The feeling is exactly the same as other celebrities have said. I think it’s completely wrong. We all, mothers and fathers, have to treat our sons in a way that they learn to respect women from an early age.”

“All women as daughters or mothers are close to my heart. It’s high time we realise and make sure that they are the most respected people on the planet. They are god’s creations. Irrespective of their field, they should be respected.”

About women empowerment matter, Shah Rukh said women should be treated with complete respect, whether they are working professionals or housewives.

Earlier, many Bollywood celebrities like Salim Khan, Shekhar Kapur, Akshay Kumar and Farhan Akhtar had strongly condemned the incident that took place during the New Year celebration in Bengaluru.
