Casino Royale’ star Daliah Lavi passes away at 74

Washington D.C.   ‘Casino Royale’ star Daliah Lavi took her last breathe on Wednesday, at the age of 74.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, her family announced that she died at her home in Asheville, N.C.

She is best known for her sex symbol roles in spy spoofs, such as 1967 comedy ‘Casino Royale,’ ‘ The Spy with a Cold Nose,’ ‘ Some Girls Do’ and ‘The Silencers.’

The dark-haired, dark-eyed sex symbol then returned for another spy spoof, playing one of the James Bonds, aka The Detainer, in ‘ Casino Royale,’ opposite David Niven, Peter Sellers, Ursula Andress and Woody Allen.

In ‘ The Silencers ,’ the first of the four Matt Helm movies that starred Dean Martin as the American superspy, Lavi played the femme-fatale Tina Batori.

The survivors also include her children Kathy, Rouben, Alexander and Stephen; grandchildren Sophie, Ben, Emma and Hannah and Levi and sister Michal.

The family also noted that her funeral and interment will take place in Israel.
