At India’s most-awaited event Auto Expo 2018, popular car designer Dilip Chhabria has introduced The new TCA Sportcase, which was unveiled by actor Sonakshi Sinha.
DC TCA, which stands for Titanium, Carbon and Aluminium and underpins the DC Avanti platform, was unveiled by Dilip Chhabria and Sonakshi Sinha and is the most luxurious offering from DC Design. Clearly, it is the showstopper at Auto Expo 2018.
DC Design TCA gets its design insipration from Pagani Zonda and the La Ferrari. The mid-engined sports car has quite a bit of carbon fibre and has helped the company to diminish the weight of the sportscar.
DC Design claims that the production of the TCA to be curbed to 299 units only and the production will kick-start from October 2018. It’s worth pointing out that all these products will be exclusively signed by DC himself.
As per reports, DC TCA’s interiors is expected to be luxurious and one of its kind. And this also marks as the first time for DC to build a limited edition sports car, which is designed at DC Design studio in Pune, Maharashtra. The car broke covers at the Auto Expo 2018 which also witnessed a host of new launches and lot of concept cars and SUVs from several automakers.
The DC TCA is installed with a 3.8L engine that exudes a power of 300 hp and is mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox unlike in DC Avanti that gets a manual gearbox. The price of DC’s latest sports car is expected to be approximately Rs 50 lakh still making it one of the most affordable sports cars on offer in India.
