Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar summoned for a ‘beer date’ on March 5th 2018

Date:

Known author and researcher, Kota Neelima, has extended a ‘beer date’ invitation to Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar for the 5th of March 2018.

This is in response to the comment which he had made a few days back, where in, he had expressed his concern over girls drinking beer.

The invite states that there would be other likeminded women and men who would be accompanying her, as it was the responsibility of well-meaning citizens to allay his fears, so that he is able to perform the duties of his office ‘without fear or favour.’

The CM’s remark received a lot of flak and was viewed as a reflection of the flawed mind set people in general have for women’s rights and preferences. He was trolled not only on social media but also by eminent names and celebrities.

However, we need to wait and watch what the revert from the CM’s office would be like.

Attached below is the copy of the letter sent by Ms. Kota Neelima.
