Abhinav Chaudhary, aged 18-years, since the age of one has been suffering from Down Syndrome and now also from poor vision. However, this has not let his morale of doing something in life go down. He is still equally ambitious as his peer mates and friends.
This could be seen at the competition hosted by the Delhi government’s department of Art, Culture and Languages, where Abhinav performed a soul-stirring dance wearing blue denims with a pink t-shirt. He received the maximum cheers from the entire audience witnessing the show Delhi’s Date with Democracy.
Being a true fan of Bollywood, he says “Hrithik Roshan is my dancing icon. I want to see myself in TV like him. I want to be a dancer and an actor.”
Being just in class 10 studying at Well Being Special School in Indirapuram, his parents say that their child Abhinav eats, sleeps, and breathes dance. His mother further added that while watching dance steps on videos and television, he instantly mimics the steps as well as all that is taught in his practice sessions where he learns dance.
To honour him, his father, Brijesh Kumar, has set up a studio in their house with complete sound system and massive mirrors, just like any other dance studio. His 10-year old sibling Amulya, also cheers for him and the duo dote on each other completely.
