An Italian opera for kids in New York

Date:

In New York, parents are always looking for ways to entertain their kids and this time they are booking an exclusive show BambinO – an Italian opera. This is a 40-minute performance made for infants. After Britain and France, it is now time for New York to experience this.

6 to 18-month-old infants, dressed adorably gather in a mini auditorium of New York, some crawling, and a few others cradled by parents. The auditorium staff have informed the adults that the kids are allowed to make as much noise as they want and no one can ask them to keep quiet.

The music is sung in Italian and baby sounds, performed by two percussionists, a cellist and two singers moving around the kids and getting them to have fun. Even the crankiest babies stop crying and grin at the sounds and colours around.

The plot of the opera is the tale of a bird, an infant bird, and their relationship before they eventually separate from each other. The play is exclusive for infants up to 18 months the authorities have asked the parents to adhere to the terms and avoid pushing the bar to bring the children older than 18 months.
