Harley-Davidson to launch used-bike business in India

Date:

The US-based bike manufacturer, Harley-Davidson announced their plans to launch the used bike segment and has tried the concept with a few dealers in India.

The tests were ongoing for a while now by some dealers and now they are all set to go out big in the used business market. Currently, India has 27 showrooms of Harley-Davidson and the last was taken by Mackenzie.

Peter Mackenzie, the Managing Director of Harley said, “it will enable us to attract more customers. Secondly, to enable people, perhaps who cannot afford a new Harley-Davidson, but at least get the right Harley-Davidson experience through an authorised dealership.”

They will also be launching an apparel range in the stores designed to connect with the youth.
