After a wrecking week of scorching heat, there seems to be some respite today in Delhi owing to the dust storm predicted in the day.
The met department is predicting some relief over the next couple of days. According to the weather forecasting centre of Delhi, there can be a dust storm on Tuesday followed by rain and thundershower on Wednesday, bringing down the temperature to 41 degrees Celsius.
The temperature in some parts of South Delhi went up to 44 degrees and in some areas, it went up to 45 degrees. Palam witnessed a temperature of 45.8 degrees and the Ridge and Aya Nagar experienced a heat wave with the temperature hitting 45.9 degrees.
This intense heat and moisture are expected to bring some relief this week with the rain and thundershowers in and around Delhi.
