Veere di Wedding banned in Pakistan

The upcoming Bollywood film Veere di Wedding has been banned in Pakistan on account of vulgar dialogues and scenes.

The film stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar, and a new entrant Shikha Talsania and the screening has been banned by the Central Board of Film Sensors.

In Pakistan, the film was screened on Tuesday night and failed to clear the censorship test. The movie has been termed as unfit for exhibition due to vulgar dialogues and obscene scenes.

The movie has been co-produced by Ekta Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor, and Nikhil Dwivedi. The movie is receiving a big hype since it is the first film by Kareena Kapoor after her baby delivery and Sonam Kapoor’s first film after her wedding.

Veere di Wedding revolves around the lives of four friends who face severe struggles in getting acceptance in their families and breaking the stereotypical notions about marriage and the society. The actors are frequently found discussing their sexual lives without any hiccups.
