Martin Schwenk has been appointed as the Managing Director and CEO of Mercede Benz India. He has been the CFO at Beijing Mercedes-Benz Sales Service Co. Ltd. from September 2015. His new role in India will be effective November 1, 2018.
Martin Schwenk has an engineering degree from University of Stuttgart. His started his career at Daimler in 1992, through the Mercedes-Benz Trainee Program. Over the years, he has led in positions in Finance and Controlling in various markets, including Germany, South Africa, Austria and United States.
He will replace Roland Folger who will move to a new position in Thailand and Vietnam.
