Robert Vadra sues Arnab Goswami, this is how he gave it back

Date:

Journalists are often in the firing line for exposing the truth and reporting against politicians and now Robert Vadra, Sonia Gandhi’s son-in-law, has sued Republic TV Editor-in-Chief and one of India’s most well-known journalist Arnab Goswami.

The notice is for a report Republic TV ran, alleging notices to Vadra by IT department. The report said that Robert Vadra’s company was ordered to cough up Rs 25 crore tax on undisclosed income.

When contacted Arnab told NewsMobile, “Being sued by someone with Robert Vadra’s credentials is a badge of honour. We will expose the truth and he and his coterie must know his stunts won’t work. The truth has to and will come out.”

Republic TV had also reported that Robert Vadra didn’t disclose Rs. 42,61,55,500 in 2010-2011.

NewsMobile got in touch with Vadra’s office to get his comments but didn’t get a response. We will update the story once we get his version.
