Payel Chakraborty, the popular Tollywood actor was found dead on Wednesday evening in a hotel room in Siliguri.
According to the reports from the local media, the actress checked into a hotel in Church Area of the city on Tuesday. The cause of her death is a suspense and investigations are going on by the local police.
Her family members have also reached the Siliguri District Hospital to collect her body. Her father Prabir Guha stated that she was suffering from mental stress. Payel had recently got divorced and was focusing on her next films. She was survived by a son.
She was seen in a number of television series and movies including ‘Ek masher Sahitya Series’, ‘Chokher Tara Tui’, and ‘Goenda Ginni’.
