Akshay Kumar turns 51, celebrates birthday with wife and friends

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has turned 51 today! Bollywood’s Khiladi made his debut with a minor role in  Aaj (1987). In 1991, we saw him as a lead in the movie Saugandh and since then there has been no stopping him.

Akshay Kumar, a quintessential outsider made it big in the industry solely through his virtues of hard work, discipline and dedication, inspiring many others to follow their dreams.

From ‘Khiladi’ to ‘Aitraaz’ and from ‘Singh is King’ to ‘Gold’, Akshay Kumar has nailed every single role he had played in his three-decade-long career.

The actor, who is often seen in films promoting social causes like ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ and ‘Pad Man’, also received a greeting from the Home Minister Rajnath Singh. ‘You have great amount of love, respect and compassion for those who fight for the honour of the country,’ the minister tweeted.


Akshay Kumar celebrated his birthday with his wife, Twinkle Khanna and some close friends. Twinkle Khanna shared a picture from the bash captioned, ‘Sometimes when you don’t plan things – it all falls in place – Happy Birthday to my lovely Mr K.’
