The NYPD had an unusual lookout for a couple; here is why

Date:

The New York City Police has issued a lookout for a couple and the reason is hilarious. NYPD tweeted a video, where a guy is seen proposing a woman at Times Square. What is hilarious is the fact that he dropped the ring in a grate out of excitement after she accepted the proposal.

In their tweet, the NYPD said that the guy is ‘wanted’ for dropping his fiancée’s ring.

“WANTED for dropping his fiancée’s ring in @TimesSquareNYC! She said Yes – but he was so excited that he dropped the ring in a grate. Our @NYPDSpecialops officers rescued it & would like to return it to the happy couple. Help us find them? call 800-577-TIPS @NYPDTIPS @NYPDMTN, ” The caption read.

They also posted the picture of the ring stating that the ring has also been ‘cleaned’.

If you have any information on this happy couple, please inform the NYPD.
