Battle For States: Campaigning ends in Rajasthan, Telangana ahead of polling

Date:

New Delhi: A high-decibel election campaigning by political parties in the poll-bound states of Telangana and Rajasthan have concluded on Wednesday.

Voting in both states will be held on December 7, amid tight security. Counting of votes will take place on December 11.

In this view, both the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress have left no stone unturned to make a victory in the poll-bound states.

The last day of campaigning saw a political slugfest between top leaders hitting out at each other. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Congress president Rahul Gandhi and other prominent leaders conducted back to back rallies and public addresses before the curtains were drawn on campaigning in Rajasthan and Telangana.
