Eid, which is usually a pre-booked favourite date of Salman Khan has now been taken over by Akshay Kumar. Akshay is set to team up with Rohit Shetty for a cop drama titled ‘Sooryavanshi.’
Akshay Kumar took to his social media handle to share the poster of Sooryavanshi with the caption – “A bullet for a bullet! Get ready for #RohitShetty’s #Sooryavanshi on Eid 2020. Rohit Shetty, who has earlier directed successful films in the same genre, ‘Singham’ and the recent blockbuster ‘Simmba’ with Ranveer Singh has decided to explore the genre with superstar Akshay Kumar this time. A short sequence was also shown in ‘Simmba’ towards the climax with Akshay coming in as the Anti-Terror Squad chief.
