Did China quote Indian politicos at UNSC in Masood Azhar case? Here’s the truth

Date:

A post has surfaced on social media on China blocking the proposal in the UN Security Council on Wednesday to enlist Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammad chief Masood Azhar as a Global Terrorist.

चीन ने UN में तर्क दिया कि भारत का विपक्ष ही अजर मसुद को आतंकी नहीं मानता तो हम कैसे माने…?
डुम मरो चुल्लू भर पानी में देश द्रोहियों, ” the caption read.

(Translation – China blocked the blacklisting of Masood Azhar saying that how can they believe him to be a terrorist when opposition parties in India themselves do not consider him as a terrorist )

Fact Check

When NewsMobile Fact Checked this claim, we found out that it is a hoax.

China on March 13, 2019, blocked India’s bid to designate JeM Chief Masood Azhar as a global terrorist in the United Nations Security Council 1267 list.

As per the reports, China has asked for more time to examine the sanctions.

We also checked to see if any Indian politician has given any such statement, we did not find any reports on this.

This proves that the viral post is FAKE.
