New Delhi: In a major set back for the RJD, elder son of RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav, Tej Pratap Yadav, has resigned as the chief of the Rashtriya Janata Dal’s student wing on Thursday.
Taking to Twitter, he wrote, “I put my resignation as the Convenor of RJD Youth Wing. Naive are those people who think I am naive. I know who’s struggling at what level.”

His resignation comes amid speculation about a growing rift in the Yadav family.
Meanwhile, Tej Pratap has been unhappy for some time and often it has been about an ego battle with his brother, who is the Leader of Opposition and is Lalu Yadav’s preferred political successor.
